TFM appointed to NSW government leasing panel

4 March 2016

The NSW State Government has appointed Toyota Fleet Management (TFM) to its panel of vehicle leasing providers.

TFM General Manager Ed Stanistreet said the appointment was an exciting opportunity that recognised TFM’s experience and reputation in the provision of fleet leasing services for large organisations with diverse fleet requirements.

“We are very pleased to be appointed to the NSW Government’s lessor panel. It recognises our standing in the fleet management and leasing industry and we look forward to providing NSW Government agencies with competitive leasing services.”

Under the NSW Government’s revised model fleet management and leasing services will be outsourced to private providers, with members of the vehicle leasing panel bidding for the right to provide government agencies with fleet leasing solutions.

TFM’s appointment to the panel was announced on 4 March by NSW Minister for Finance, Services and Property, Mr Dominic Perrotet. The government’s revised fleet leasing model is the result of a 2014 review that recommended fleet management and leasing services be outsourced to the private sector to free up an estimated $1bn in capital over the next four years.

The new fleet leasing panel is effective from 1 July this year for the NSW Government’s new vehicle requirements.
